Here we go yet again, ladies and germs. A new trailer from Marvel Television dropped yesterday at the time of this journal's post, and the terminally online incels and delusional grifters have picked their new 'culture war' spawning ground. And if I've said this once, I've said it more than once; you can make a drinking game with the predictable crap they'll spout off in the comments on anything that isn't; male, white and straight. And once again, these clowns really don't know what; feminism, Mary Sue, and woke actually mean. Safe to say they've made this their entire personality with all their rage bait? You be the judge. Hell, it's amazing nobody's written a book about 'em yet.
I'm talking about the new 'Ironheart' series coming to Disney+ this June.
Now I've periodically said I ain't much of a comic reader, but I've heard stories about Riri Williams' early tenure when her books started coming out, and she wasn't that well liked. I still have paperbacks of 'The Champions' with Riri in them, and I dug here there. But it's as I've said many times before, I judge characters when I see them in the movies. Again, from a non-comic purist, I like Hank Pym way better in the movies than in the olden comics. And if I like a character, and I wanna see more of that character, if I do see them, then that's the icing on the cake for me. Been that way since 'Iron Man' back in 2008, and Riri Williams/Iron Heart ain't no different.
These nutbags complained that Riri's character wasn't necessary, and was 'shoehorned in'. Oh, really? The entire plot for 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' was around this character. Ryan Coogler found a way to introduce her and her smarts in a groovy way for the movie. 'A character nobody cares about that costarred in a movie nobody liked.' Why do these assholes think they can speak for others just cuz of their personal beef with a movie? It's really baffling to me. 'She appeared in one movie and getting a Disney+ show that half the audience who watched the movie won’t even watch this show.' They've said this crap ever since 'Iron Man' so often I can't even give these complainers the benefit of the doubt. I hesitate to call them 'psychics', cuz they'd make the horrible con artists pretending to be psychics look altruistic. Just like they've doubled down when 'Captain America: Brave New World' and 'Thunderbolts*' came out and were successful saying that no one went and saw either movie. They'll never admit when they're wrong, they'll lose all the griftin' money ^^
'Cant believe this was filmed 3 years ago and only is now coming out Which means it’s probably not any good. Hopefully it is, but more often than not if it’s taking something 3 years to release it’s because there was no confidence in it.' Oooooooor.... they took their time to polish it, especially when it comes to the SFX and CG that they constantly complain about. I mean 'Wakanda Forever came out in November 2022, the series was announced like mid-2023, and this trailer just came out mid May 2025. A lot can happen within 3 years. Movies ain't written, produced, filmed and release in a week, dudes. Hell, the recent writer's strike was also a factor, yet these morons never bring that up. We were gonna get an Avengers movie with Kang, but the circumstances with Johnathan Majors made them change up their plans. This shit has been going on for years, plans will be made, and plans will change, and they find ways around it. So, your argument is baseless.
The fact that they’re releasing the first trailer this close to the release just shows that even Disney themselves don’t like this show'. 'Daredevil Born Again' and 'Skeleton Crew' went through the same things, sooooooooo.... Not to mention the trailer for season 3 of Squid Game came out last week, and that's coming out 'round the same time as this show in June. Yeah, your attempt to desperately make this show worse than it might be is pretty moot.
'This whole trailer is nothing but other people telling her how amazing and powerful she is, isn't that usually a telltale sign of really bad writing?' Amazing how you can build up an entire movie/show in your head from a minute-long trailer. The marketing tool used to quickly exposit information about a project's main characters for a trailer? And you're complaining that this trailer is just doing that? This is the same horseshit these dumbasses have spouted off when it comes to the characters from the Disney+ shows appearing in the recent movies; confidentially saying that nobody ever watched those shows to see their backstories, yet when those characters give off quick summations of how they got their powers to those who haven't watched their shows, they'll bitch that it's 'not enough'. They'll complain about 'too much unnecessary exposition', yet still crave it. Don't expect the movies to constantly hold your hand if you're not willing to hold their hand back.
Of course the whole 'Mary Sue' argument with Riri getting out of the elevator in the trailer. I can't wait to see these jackasses complain about the new Supergirl movie coming next year.
'They should've given the kid from Iron Man 3 his own show. He had more character and depth than Riri did in 'Wakanda Forever'' Holy shit.... *sighs heavily* Y'all should know my stance when it comes to Iron Man 3, hell I don't even remember that kid's name. He wasn't even a main character, and whole schtick was that he hung out with Tony for a bit in a single movie and then never showed up again. He didn't even talk about wanting to be a hero himself in that movie. And you're telling me Riri didn't have character in 'Wakanda Forever'? God I hope those people who wrote that aren't aspiring writers, cuz their critical thinking skills... oh boy~ But let's face it, we all know why you'd want the 'Iron Man 3' kid. Cuz he's a white male, the incels' favorite gender. ^^
'The character will not have any significant development; its main purpose is solely to pander.' I'm not Asian, yet I loved 'Shang-Chi'. I'm not Mexican, yet I loved 'Blue Beetle'. I've loved almost all the MCU films and shows, yet a good majority of their heroes are white, and I love all those characters. By your logic, all those characters pander to you, cuz you're white. I didn't watch the two Black Panther movies simply because of the mostly black cast. All this is coming from a biracial dude, whose main Persona here on FA is a thicc-er-than-a-snicker dark-skinned Futanari chick. Did I make that character to pander to those like me?? No, it's cuz I wanted to. And plus, Chasey ain't gonna be the only human I'll have here, and I'll have a variety of skin colors. These people need to know what the word 'pander' really means, cuz they shouldn't get their knowledge from 'South Park's Pandervrese'.
'Does anybody even care about Ironheart enough to even want an Ironheart show? You couldn’t give any other character a show?' Dude, you can say that with any damn show. Apparently, her comics sold really well and she has been in over 160 comics to date, so obviously people care. And because I was introduced to her in 'Wakanda Forever', and liked her character, yeah, I do wanna see more of her. Nobody cared about the Guardians of the Galaxy until their first movie was made. Now you wouldn't question the popularity of the Guardians. So stop pretending like people's ignorance toward a character is an excuse to ignore the character, because nobody knows ANY character (Marvel, DC, or literally anything else) until they actually see the character. Can't wait till trailers of 'Wonder-Man' drops so we can go through this whole rigmarole all over again. Yeah, I didn't even know about the character's existence till I bought an Avengers encyclopedia 10 years ago. If Marvel Studios haven proven anything in well over 10 years, is that they'll take a character you've never heard of, and give them their time to shine.
Speaking of that, 'This series shoulda been about War Machine. This just proves that War Machine as a character was done dirty in the MCU'. War Machine has been in 7 movies and (unfortunately) 'Secret Invasion'. More than a dammed decade of being in the MCU. How exactly has he been 'done dirty'. No, Cyclops has been done dirty in the Fox X-Men movies, and I can't wait to see him in 'Avengers: Doomsday'. If they give him the treatment like they did in 'Deadpool and Wolverine', then count me firmly on board. BTW, 'Armor Wars' is still gonna be a thing. Like I said before, this crap takes time to develop. Took years to get a good Deadpool movie, look where it's at now. Took years to finally get SOMETHING about Gambit in a movie, look where he is now. Oh yeah, Gambit's gonna be in 'Avenger's Doomsday'. 'Disney: let's shelf a beloved and established black character for this forced inclusion hire who exists simply because she fits the program.' Please define what the hell 'forced inclusion' actually means.
'Quick reminder that Stan Lee never worked on her character. This is just propaganda.' Stan Lee made Black Panther, you gonna tell me that's 'propaganda'? Or are you once again implying that if anyone creates a character that isn't white some sort of propaganda. Learn what the hell propaganda actually is, dumbass!
'This should have come before Wakanda Forever.'.... are you serious?
And like with 'Black Panther' and 'Captain America: Brave New World', black main character = rap song in the trailer. Do I even to explain again why that criticism is so friggin' stupid?
'I like how Ryan Coogler's name is all over this' Well, he wrote and direct 'Wakanda Forever', wrote Riri's character, soooooooo..... Why is this something to be worried about?
Once again, these jackasses let certain messages go way over their heads and make whatever out to be something that it isn't, like the whole 'making something iconic' part in the trailer. After seeing the trailer, no I didn't see anything 'Mary Sue', it's Riri showing off her smarts to get out of a situation, and showing that she needs to take care of a threat. And no, this trailer ain't about 'people telling her how amazing and powerful she is'. Jesus Christ, common sense really is dead to these assholes.
'Nobody's gonna watch this. Nobody watched any of the other shows or movies, cuz it peaked after 'Endgame.' I love how these morons constantly think nobody else watched any of the other shows cuz they didn't. They just cannot accept the reality that people, like me, have watched/do watch, and do love these other shows and movies. Welp, let 'em be them. Ya can't fix stupid.
My thoughts about this show coming up. As usual, I'm gonna wait to all episodes are up so I can properly stream it like I did with Daredevil. And damn that suit is fire. I do hope we see the pink, black, and gold suit in the finale tho ^^
So that's all I have to say about these. Long as these wastes-of-oxygen continue their verbal diarrhea about the crap they constantly misunderstand with such willful ignorance in their grifting, I'm talk about it.
Thanks for your time. ^^

Thor, GoTG, Avengers, Spiderman
but eh not the rest
just not gonna try and keep up with allat
What Mary Sue really means is a woman character who's talented, has no flaws, and no personality. So these dumbasses continuously use that term wrong.
Rey is talented, does have personality and flaws.
