Who are your least favorite fictional characters?

For me, those characters aren't really on my mind, like I don't keep a personal list of characters I hate in general across every possible media, and they def don't pop into mind for me. I can say my least for specific groups but sorry, no answer for this one!

Hmmmm.

Simple answer: Pretty much the whole Sharkboy and Lavagirl movie :P

Unless you specifically mean ones that were meant to be really good? I mostly notice these things in the moment so it's tough to think of specific ones but honestly I feel like a lot of stuff after Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has just not hit the same. Like it looks ok at first glance but doesn't look as real and grounded while you're watching.

I haven't seen that one yet. I'll have to check it out sometime.

I just got to thinking about it after watching SW: A New Hope again, mostly because it was on Hulu and I had time to kill, and noticing how Carrie Fisher's fingers sink into the big pole they used to try to stop the trash compactor. And then some very obvious wires in Aliens as well. as for the PotC films, I mostly remember the first one, so I couldn't name any specific special effects faillures in DMC, but you could kinda tell the franchise was getting a bit rote by then. Still a lot of fun, but not quite as fresh as it might be.

Then again, what can I say? I'm a big fan of the really old-school pirate/swashbuckling movies, like Errol Flynn old-school, and clearly remember at least one where the big ship-to-ship fight included very obvious toy ships floating around in a tub of water.

Sooooo many movies were amazing when I was a kid but gosh you see the glaring cgi/etc when you really look at it again haha Some hold up well but honestly I'd say majority don't, but it's part of the charm of it <3

True. I suppose we were more innocent as kids. But if it has a good story, or is just fun to watch, I can forgive the odd flaw. Especially in older films before CGI was a thing. And I agree it's part of the charm. It can be kind of comforting to know that even the big kids can sometimes make mistakes, too.
