I hate talking about political stuff. A lot. However, this is something I feel like I cannot ignore if sharing this can potentially save my friends.
If this bill passes, there's potential jail sentences or massive fines awaiting you for the heinous crime of... doing NSFW commissions. Among other things that're totally legal and fine at the moment.
I think you can see the danger here. As I'm not from the US myself, there's not much I can do aside from passing this around, and I felt like I should. Whoever you voted for in the US elections, it matters not. If this passes, you'll become a potential target regardless.

Is it shitty as fuck and awful? Yes. But this asshole Senator always tries to introduce bills like this and they never, EVER make it anywhere close to law. Not his first time trying to do this and it always dies on the proposal table.
What's terrifying is that it's more likely for these bills to pass now than they ever have before. And we can no longer rely on the supreme court to strike down these wide sweepingly broad laws.
I... do hope things end up being alright in the end. I'd hate to see my friends potentially get in trouble as a result of this.
I don't know why we've gone down this road but I feel helpless. If I ever get a sweetheart deal to live in Canada I'm taking it.

Even if they do pass this bill, how exactly are they gonna enforce it? Even if they crack down hard on it there is just FAR too much out there for it to be practical
