Been a user almost ten years and I hope I can continue to at least hit that awful milestone (Ten year anniversaries are horrible for me, I've noticed).

That idiotic diamond mine kid has an AI it wants to shoehorn into Telegram and the idiots who own it who already make enough money off it said yes.
I refuse to support Elon Smell in anything, so unfortunately I'll be thinking for a few weeks on where to very likely migrate to.
It sucks because I have literal actual HUNDREDS of people on Telegram. So maybe I'll just do "something else" besides using it OR migrating *wink wink*

I can't deal with gif spammers on discord because unlike Telegram, there is no option to remove their obnoxious infinitely playing shit gifs ;_;.
Chatting is awkward, arbitrary sending limits in size and amounts, Discord's own whole restructuring deal looking mighty dangerous for *that* platform...

personally I hate this seemingly urgent need to implement AI everywhere (it's not even true "AI" by definition!)... the technology has certainly its place and utility but not here or like this

Telegram CEO claimed that xAI will pay to integrate its Grok chatbot into the messaging platform. Musk denied a deal had been signed.
The fact it was considered is eyebrow raising, though.
Did research enough earlier to see Telegram had a 500-something million profit a little while ago for a whole fiscal year, so I did raise an eyebrow at the unnecessary deal.
Thank fuck it's not gonna melt down yet lol.
