Cast iron power armor
Now that my crisis is over I can post about what I was originally working on this week.
Cast irons power armor the settlement being a former enclave manufacturing hub allows the residents there to be able to manufacturer the parts for their own variants of the t-65 power armor none of them to the same level as the prewar secret service ones but equal in effectiveness to the brotherhoods t-60 variants.
T-65 R. Raillord armor is the closest to the original specs thatT-66 can be produced this juggernaut of steel is only issued to the highest ranking iron guard commanders and are fitted with a tracker so that the suit might be recovered if anything should happen. Comes with a targeting unit in the helmet allowing the wearer to designate hostiles to any other guard in power armor near by.
T-65 B. The blazer is built with radiation protection in mind and is used specifically by the expeditionary rangers to explore the remains of the Northern cities and near the glowing island. They are also the main armor for anti mutant squads. Extra air scrubbers and better seals are used in it's manufacturing and the Helmet design is more akin to an armored gass mask
T-65 S. The standard for the rail guard it is normally fitted with a spotlight on the helmet and can mount either a heavy weapon support arm or a recon unit.
The standard weapon for all variants is the v63 laser carbine and the plasma defender as a side arm. The pilots that carry shields tend to favor either using a defender or the stockless snub barreled carbine.
Thanks to the addition of the many enclave, institute, and minute men pushed into the region cast iron has found new and better ways to maintain their armor and weapons along the years.
Questions and comments are encouraged and help me see the interest in the setting and characters.
