Ye the ai crap is my top concern. The other I've always been good at avoiding cause even if I follow a lot of people I never check my feed just posted what I needed to then absconded.

It's a hellscape of bots and an unnecessarily hostile algorithm that simultaneously devalues artists and does its best to feed you right-wing rage bait and despair. On top of that, it feeds everything you type and upload into their AI whether you like it or not.
I would only do it if you absolutely need the extra eyes on your work for income, because most people are better off without it at this point.

Ye, I guess I'm just a bit frustrated with blusky and such. I used to get a lot of looks and sales on twitter even more so right before twitters take over and blusky hasn't been the best replacement for me but I'm not in a desperate spot so ye I won't return to twitter probably still good for me to retweet my 'where to find me' post but thats it it seems.

Don't bother. It's still owned by the same guy, meaning the same bullcrap that was there when you left will still be there.

Just stick to BlueSky, where there's no AI stealing every content you upload.

Blue sky is great and you can get a good following there. My only complaint is can’t do super high resolution photos and can’t send pics in DMs yet
