So I finally saw Avatar today. I was kind of tentative to the idea of a movie so heavily based in CGI, and I really had no idea what it was about, but after hearing that so many people liked it I decided to pirate...I mean...Watch the movie in a totally legal manner.

I was actually quite surprised by the film. Even with the poor quality of the version I watched I was still impressed by the convincing design of the characters. When I started watching it I was worried about the long length, but toward the end I was actually pleased with the duration of the film.

I am slightly concerned with the ending of the movie, however...I'm not sure if my version cut out early or if the end really happened the way it did...I will say no more in case anyone out there hasn't seen it yet and will just wait for  westiebetch to sign on so that I can discuss this with her.

In conclusion I will say that if anyone is on the fence about seeing this movie I do highly recommend it. I plan on seeing it in a theater sometime soon so that I can see the movie in proper format...And because the subtitles on my version were in Russian or something. Anyway, see it and tell me what you think.
