Hey there, you see the Donkey Kong Bananza direct? If not, do that first so I don't spoil too much for you.

Okay, if you're here, you either don't care enough or have already seen it. So I saw the Donkey Kong Bananza Direct. I got a couple of thoughts in no particular order.
1. First of all, Pauline is ADORABLE!!! And apparently has nifty powers in co-op mode. No wonder she won her election, nobody can beat her words.
2. Yep, exactly as chaotic and destructive as I had hoped. Only thing missing that would make it perfect for me is the ability to piledrive my enemies.
3. Wait, Donkey Kong can go Super Saiyan now? With weird Zebra and Ostrich options? Well, okay then.
4. Wait, if DK is protecting Pauline, then what does that make the original arcade game?
5. Her name's Poppy Kong, eh? Well, no King K Rool, but these new bosses might be neat.

also i'd wager this is about 15 years prior to Mario Odyssey, and the "Dream" she mentions is New Donk City
