Microsoft will sell ESU (extended support) for 30 bucks for one year, giving you until Oct 2026.

But after that, there is no way to use windows 10 safely, despite what any 3rd party company wants to sell.

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 has an extended end date of January 13, 2032. The .iso must be pirated in most cases, but tools to crack the activation are free and open-source.

LTSC 2021 is based on 21h2, and LOTS of software and drivers will not run on it. Newer graphics drivers and even Microsoft software (office) wont run on it. The list will grow quickly over time as well. LTSC is made for specific use cases, running a walled garden of software in a restricted environment. Microsoft has a planned EOL for even Edge on it, and it will not correctly support intel cpus with E cores. It will not support many features on newer AMD CPUs as well. Just a (major) downside to keep in mind.

Oh yeah, I mean I wouldn't expect companies to keep updating or creating Win 10 drivers past EOL anyways. They will push everyone to 11 eventually, but if Myoti already has functioning devices and drivers on normal Win 10 and just wants continued security updates instead of Win 11, I'd say LTSC is their best option. Certainly better than not receiving any security updates from Microsoft past October.

If you are using Linux for most of your daily work load OS, of course, go with that. If you need to use Windows for something like Clip Studio or the like, you can set up a dual boot partition and only use the Windows partition for those set things. 0patch does great work. Their free personal tier should be fine for protection. So long as you are safe online and what have you. But if you wanted the more up to date packaging, the 25 eur a year isn't too bad. But overall, 0patch has been a great tool.
