What I want you all to understand is this -
Everyone turned their backs on Gaiman. Fans. Producers. Editors. Industries.
Nobody turned their backs on Rowling.
The difference is that Gaiman targeted women, and Rowling targeted LGBTQ+ folks, and it utterly shows that y'all still don't think LGBTQ+ folks count like the rest of you.

LGBTQ+ people are not treated with the same response, because society has wrapped itself around around the concept that we're somehow either dirty, lesser, or some kind of anchor dragging down society.
