Serious question about E621
So the image site E621 has a couple things going on that I'm not fond of:
1. The 'Tag what you see' policy which is debatably transphobic, queerphobic, and non-inclusionary (I think 'debatably' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, in the wrong direction)
2. The 'e6ai' site that they're also running (which I'm not going to link to)
I'm pondering if I want to throw in takedown requests for all the art featuring my characters as well as put them on the DNP list. It's maybe a symbolic gesture but it's also like, I'm increasingly not fond of this site.
What would you do?

Hell, there's a website dedicated to tracking their crimes and ethics issues.
I def recommend it. If you're not happy with it, just send them a message, have your stuff taken down and explain why it is and once they've done it it's done.
How do you think the tag system can be bad? I think it works quote well but I don't go there very often
As far as the tags, the main issue I have is that the tags for 'male' and 'female' are strictly and exclusively applied to cismasc and cisfem characters that have the quote unquote 'right' combination of body parts, otherwise they're tagged as andromorph/gynomorph/'ambiguous gender'/etc. You can't opt in/out of this, it's universally applied by policy, and at best you can apply to get a 'female_(lore)' tag for your character.
I think a better solution would be to make 'male' and 'female' inclusive tags and then have 'gynomorph'/'cis female'/etc be additional tags applied, like how 'canid' is inclusive of both wolves and dogs. But honestly whether or not there is a better solution, the existing tagging policy still sucks.
I kinda lapsed in posting to the site because I CBA to do it through postybird - I'm a stickler for tagging properly and using as many tags as applicable - , and even less so doing it manually.
As for the e6ai site, I don't care much for it. It's a good thing that they separated it out from the main site though. AI is here, deal with it.
As for adding your characters to the DNP list, you do you. They're your characters. Though if you are going to go down that route, it'll only be fair to mention it to any artist you commission/co-bidders on a multi slot YCH. While it hasn't happened to me yet, I'd be very pissed if I wasn't allowed to post a piece of art which I paid for on any site that I like - as long as the artist is fine with it.
They even added the "trans_*(lore)" type tags if you really care for it.
But in the end, the world of pornography has always been objectifying, sexist and whatever else you want to call it, and e6 has built itself on its tagging and blacklisting system, which was specifically made to sort and filter through what people want. I'm not trying to dismiss your perspective on the matter, just trying to show you why it is the way it is.
