Hey everyone! I’ve got an update on my cat Smokey health 💕

Finally, her bronchitis isn’t bothering her anymore, and just yesterday she had surgery to remove all the stones from her bladder!

She’s come out of anesthesia well, is eating with a good appetite, and overall seems to be feeling okay. The vets did say there’s still an inflamed area in her bladder where the biggest stone was. There might be complications, and if the meds (and wow, there are a LOT of them) don’t work, she might need another procedure to take a tissue sample for further treatment adjustments.
I’m really hoping it won’t come to that and that she recovers fully soon. We went for a follow-up today — they checked her and treated the stitches. So far, everything seems to be going alright!
On the 1st, we’re heading back to the vet for tests and to loosen the stitches.

I just want to say a huge thank you for all your help and support. I’m beyond grateful for every kind word and every commission — you seriously saved me. I couldn’t have gotten through this awful spring without you.
