comparing your art to other people's is the easiest way to feel like shit about it

I liked talking with you. I would be interested in talking to you more if you felt like it. Never compare yourself to others, do things because you enjoy it. That should be the only reason to do what you do.

Unnecessarily comparing yourself to others is one of the best ways to kill any passion you have. Unfortunately, comparing yourself to others is just a part of the process of life. It's just a human thing, especially when we tie our worth into it.

Art isn't a competition. Unless you're doing it professionally, there's no reward for "competing." The best thing you can do with pursuits like art is to contextualize that many of the "popular and good" artists you see in the fandom have been working on their craft for years, even decades. An artist who does art as their job will have all day to work on their craft, unlike someone who does it as a hobby who may only have a few hours a week to work on it.

The best advice I can give is that when you start to tie your own worth into something, and feel like your not worth it, you should take a step back. Realize it's not a competition. There's no "judge" here. Art is an expression of yourself, and you don't need anyone "approval or validation." Your art has worth because you made it, not because other people rank it compared to others.

I've always found your art cute. I can understand why you don't feel like you stand out, but you do have your own style :)

Are you kidding your art is an inspiration it’s amazing! While you might think so comparing your art to others, other people feel similarly comparing their art to you! So don’t give up mate it be such a shame for you to do so!
