Still struggling with my "mom"
Howl to all my buddies out there!
Today has been a VERY busy day. As you may know, my mom has her whole body still in pain, but also still treats me like a slave, and she rarely gives me a break. I do lots of stuff for her and as soon as I'm leaving her room or lying in my bed she calls me for another array of stuff. And whever I do something wrong due to being nervous of being near her, she insults me. But I'm sick of it. I stood up to her and said that she is a liar, she doesn't love me like a son, but needs me like a slave. If she doesn't like the stuff I do for her, then she can go look for someone else. She also tried to say that I'm a fake Christian since I do not honor my mother, but she is just no longer my mom. My grandma also defended me saying that mom asks too many things from me. Afterward, my mom headed to her room crying and wanting to ask my cousin Edy to help her. I don't know if to feel bad for her or not, since most of the times, she cries manipulatively, as if to gaslight me. I'm not sure if to keep calling her mom and call her boss instead. I just hope God forgives all of my sins and gives me strength to carry this cross for His glory.

Good for you to stand up for yourself, and thank God your grandma also helped you too! Honestly though, you shouldn't be worried about your mom crying if she treats you like a slave constantly. I know you work hard for her and she should thank you for that!

Thank you a lot for your words, Blue. They mean so much for me. You truly are a great person and sister.

I know, but remember, one of the ten commandments is to honor our parents so it all goes well for us.
