Hey there cuties!
We had so much fun with our Pride banner for June but now it’s time to roll out our first Community Banner for the year- created by
tartii!
What are community banners? Well that’s where artists submit banner ideas through the year and if chosen they will be featured as the site default banner for a minimum of a week - sometimes longer if it fits a season or holiday. There is no set amount to how many that we will choose! We may pick 3, or 12, or even 42! Please use the tag FABanner2025 in your tags for us to easily locate submissions! We ask that at least one of the mascots are featured or both of us! All banners must meet General Rating guidelines to be considered. Banner sizes are fixed at 1850x300.
Tartii brings in the summer fun with “Anime Beach Episode” vibes. Please go give them some love for this gorgeous piece and be sure to keep cool in all this heat! Sunscreen, hydrate, and be mindful of medications that may make being in the sun more difficult or dangerous! Self care is very important even during fun outdoor activities. Ask me how I know.
We also wanted to do a quick follow up on the Pride Event in Frederick we attended last weekend! We saw so many of you lovely beans there and had a great time with you. We hope to be at more events soon(Got any suggestions?). We promised 20% of sales would go to the Frederick Center and after counting up sales we are at $609.99 (we’ll round up to $610) being donated plus the service fee so they receive the full amount. Thank you so much for allowing us to take part in this event and thanks to all of you for supporting us!

If you don't want it to happen in the future, listen to what people are saying, try to understand it, that way you can communicate better, if nothing else, please try to refrain from commenting on THESE types of situations if you can't seem to fix/care-about what you're saying. I have struggled with Social Skills my ENTIRE adult life because I grew up sheltered, and it really sucks for me even to this day, but I'm trying, I'm learning, it takes effort and not even that much of it.
ON A HILARIOUS SIDE NOTE, I love how you're comments in this thread have been about "too much skin showing" and the LITERAL next comment is a "BAM, Cleavage!" Profile Picture xD even if you don't take my advice seriously, I find it hilarious that their PFP is literally there mocking you xD

it's almost impossible to design something that looks good on desktop wide and mobile width.
is this resizing banner not up for debate at all? it was sprung on us out of the blue, and my banner is horrible looking on mobile now (unreadable at a small size and my icon blocks the middle and most important part of it now).
Other than that though, I usually love and thoroughly enjoy 95% of the banners with zero complaints, the new one included, and I recognized Tartii right off the bat~
Overall the banner is awesome, but it should have been planned a bit better to make it organized and ensure everyone feels seen, including those of the community, no, ESPECIALLY the community, ya know? Again, I am not trying to complain, or even tell y'all what to do, it is just what it is at this point, I was just trying to voice me and my bf's feelings while providing a helpful tip for the future, and I hope that it's helpful rather than feeling like just some random person bitching!

Blurred images are usually due to them containing a keyword that you have on your blocklist.
If the images' keywords list do not contained keywords you have blocked, please open a Trouble Ticket with the "Bug/Glitch" category so the Tech team can take a look at it.

You can click the "+" sign next to a keyword, and it'll add it to your keywords blocklist. After adding it, all submissions will be blurred instead of automatically display.
We're working on an upgrade to this system which would prevent displaying those submissions at all instead of just blurring them (likely with a toggle you can manually change). :3
That's a little ways away, however. :x

It will eventually be decommissioned, however there is no timeframe for this yet.
