I had trained my whole life to be a knight. My father was one before me, as was his father before him, and as I had become. However, my reputation was even greater than my ancestors. I had become the favored knight of my kingdom. If I were a prince, the king would have had me married to the princess by this point I was so beloved. Many throughout the kingdom looked up to me, but something was missing...despite many ladies and maidens wanting to be my bride, none truly caught my heart. Yet I continued being the greatest protector in the kingdom.

Naturally, this meant when a suspicious amount of people in a nearby village began disappearing and the word "monster" had been thrown about I was the first choice sent to investigate. I packed my equipment and made my way to the village, getting settled into the local inn whilst I was tracking down the beast. That night, I got armored up with a sword on my hilt as I set out into the forest nearby
