Time passes, people change, the world evolves and so does the fandom....or is it...?
I remember when this place felt more realistic, before the whatever current trends took over. I preferred it when things were truly unique rather than looking at people just let things be instead of chasing whatever’s popular.
Nowadays, entertainment seems obsessed with competition, and it's exhausting. Even modern games bored the hell out of me.
For the people, not only on fandom but everything.
Everyone starts to look and act the same, like they were stamped out of the same mold.
Convention is just a place for checking popularity and weird ass race who's can be the loudest.
Yeah Yeah Yeah I know you gonna say you can ignore and enjoy it, but the point is.

Yes, I still engage with other parts of the community, but what really gets to me is how many people have changed. Some aren't anything like they used to be. I can't believe how many have turned to porn as their only identity.
Even the most innocent stuffs still somehow involve. stfu man, do you realize how weird the conversation is?

And then there's the politics. I'm so tired of everything being politicized especially U.S. politics, which always turns into this black-and-white, left-versus-right mess. Honestly? I don't give a fuck seeing it everywhere especially the place not meant to be. It’s draining and divisive.
