I've been reading more about it. It goes both ways:
We all hate AI-gen, and we're incredibly nervous about having Tech bros infiltrating and stealing our works.
But accusing others of using AI for their art when they likely share an equal hatred of AI is mean, incorrect, and throwing shade on the wrong people.
It's one thing to hate AI art. It's another thing to let the paranoia cause you to disparage others and turn on folks who actually work hard and earn a living through making art legitimately.
I will never post AI-made content on my FA or Bluesky. Anything I create will be made with my own hand and effort.
But be nice to others. Don't go so far in the weeds that you can't tell friend from robot. Love eachother.

It’s a real shame, honestly. AI could be great use in so many areas, but its potential is being wasted on “art” and stealing from artists. AI companies really need to focus on putting it in places like self driving vehicles. At least then it would be a big help for people in need, such as the physically disabled or the elderly.
