DragonStuff.exe has begun.

The real estate dudes for the one place that invited us finally called my ex and said we can come sign the contract in 1 week, which will mark the official start of tenancy.
This also means that barring gross negligence or behaviour on our part, we should be safe for 8 months (6 tenancy plus 2 eviction immediately after end of 6 month basic tenancy) , which means we are good for the winter no matter what - since we're not gross, noisy, or shitty people! WOO!
SO UH.
YEAH.
15th I'll be mostly gone most of the day, first time viewing the property live. It's still not guaranteed, if they change their minds before we sign - which they can - we are severely fucked.
But um. I'm hoping this is real and won't have shenanigans with it. The change in environs will be nice - there are actual TREES. I don't know if I've ever said but where I live has the *creepiest* fucking lack of trees. Long fields, golf courses, walking paths and parks with just. Nothing. It's wild and once I noticed it I've been creeped out a little bit :-P
