Focus on your friends more than you would me, if they’ve been struggling then hearing from you will be a benefit

You might not be able to do something for them but hearing from you is moral support

I make contact enough that it doesn't feel like moral support at all, really. Seen it enough that despite my offer to help, things just keep getting worse.

Seeing you give up basically tells me that maybe its more worth giving up on these friends, since I get about as much out of it as you did with your comic.....nearly nothing.

My comic is personal to me and I was doing it for the passion but the fact that I made a world nobody cared about or could even name a character was upsetting to me and other people just saying “I have to catch up” when the last time we spoke about it was a year ago, that hurts cause I felt lied to and alone with nothing to show for it

Your friends however are people they live they have problems they need help with those problems even if you say hello to them its still better than saying nothing if you leave a person alone with their thoughts they have the potential to think of horrible things and drive themselves deeper into depression, your not there for them physically but being there in spirit is still moral support, saying hi to them could brighten up their day you dont know that cause they dont have to tell you that but even just a little support is better than no support

You know why I said the support I got was fake? Telling me to have passion for what I draw does not help me when the person telling me that wont comment on the comic say I’m improving or what they liked or what they hope to see in the future and that lingers because it felt hollow telling me to do it “for the passion”

Your friends however if they had a bad day maybe their parents or partner is on their ass maybe works becoming to much of a burden, you are there to alleviate that burden a simple hi might flick on a light bulb for them and get them to message back, go into your interests it might cheer them up if its a hobby they care about, being a friend is important and if you think being alone isnt good enough talk to more friends get them involved make it a group effort be the best bud you can

I'm worried about what kinks FA's mods are gonna arbitrarily ban this year: in 2023 they put a blanket ban on porn of small species (i.e. shortstacks are banned); in 2024, they banned ABDL content, which is EXTRA scummy because they waited until after Dragoneer's passing to ban the people he fought tooth and nail to give a place here on FA. Two years in a row now they've banned kinks for no justifiable reason; are they gonna go 3 for 3 and ban something this year too?

If they ban the kinks I draw after honouring dragoneer a year after his passing then they are just spitting on his grave
