I thought I was doing good and then I deleted this half-completed journal like 4x on accident. So uh! Things Have Certainly Been A'Happening. Last Friday I was gone for the evening, came home incredibly late/in pain and just kinda saw to the animals and flopped into bed. Woke up the next morning way too early with a strange feeling and discovered my 13 yr old rabbit Thor had passed in his sleep. Was it a surprise? Hell no. Lil dude's life expectancy was 6-9 and he was active/chipper up to the end. He was literally normal when I got home at midnight and checked on him. Did it still hurt? 100%. I mean, after over a decade of him living with us it's a huge shift in routine and mood. I was home alone so my Saturday was spent digging a hole and just wandering around the house like a ghost.

All this to say... I did what I so often do with Grief, and threw myself into Arts when Monday hit because it was the best way for my brain to quiet down for a while. Due to this, I've gotten my To Do list in a much better place than I imagined. Not really the plan, but as they say, lemonades from lemons and such. So for August, more slots are open. (I honestly planned on doing 2 at most.) Terms of Service has also been updated and made a bit easier to read. I will be around as best as I am able, as I'm starting to hit my wall. YCHs are still on track for projected timeline as well, I believe I've only got 2 of those left.
