I think I'm going to raise my rates from 30 USD per thousand words to 40 USD per thousand words. But it's not because of the reason you are thinking of.

Essentially, I joined r/Eroticasells the subreddit where they have a minimum price of 4 cents a word and have been trying to spread out my reach further out. I've been thinking that it would be unfair if I get clients from that subreddit and charge them higher while others who find me on FA or on other subreddits get the cheaper rates. Since I am in the subreddit, I would either raise my rates or leave it (which breaks the point of even joining there lol). Is it because I also want more money for my work? Most definitely.

But is it fair for returning customers who have been supporting me all this time to suddenly be hit with such a price hike (it's a 10 dollar hike after all).

And so after debating with myself at like 3am in the morning over and over again, I have to create systems for this (such is the fate of an overthinker).

So let's start with the original offer (per thousand words):

- $25 15k words threshold
- $30 for everyone else
- Discounts for when I vibe with it

What I am proposing for this new pricing structure (per thousand words):

- $25 25k words threshold or for $25 patrons
- $30 for $20 patrons
- $35 15k words threshold or for $3 & $6 patrons
- $40 for everyone else
- Discounts for when I vibe with it.

I'll be honest. This is also an attempt to shill my patreon. After all, if you were a commissioner and you want discounted rates (plus free words on sign up), my patreon is always open for you. Now if you are worried about how would I track the word count for it or how do I ensure everyone has their numbers right, I just coded an entire website just to keep tabs on it (have to use that diploma some way or another, am I right haha)
