There's still hope. There is an alternative to YouTube called FreeTube: https://freetubeapp.io/ It's basically YouTube, but without the AI, ads, AI age verification, etc. You can use this to boycott YouTube while STILL using it. Yes, really. Check it out and see what you guys think.
