Moving fun

My family is moving to a new house this week and something funny happened while working last night. I have this old portable television which I sometimes use as a make-shift computer monitor. It's black and white and I've repaired i to the point where there is no sound and the inside is full of connecting wire and electric tape.
I had a strange feeling in the back of my head that for some reason or another, the little tv wouldn't make it to the new house, and sure enough, while carrying it to the door it fell apart leaving electrical components all over.
The saddest part, though, is that I'm going to fix it again, because they don't make them any more.

I'm also looking to buy a computer called the Kenbak-1, but it cost $999 plus $50 for shipping, so I don't think I'll be able to afford one.
But they're sooo cooool! I totally want one!
It has no actual CPU, but instead has about 132 TTL chips which make up for it, giving it 256 bytes of RAM (or about 1/4000th of a MB) but no real ROM, and you program things in machine code.
It wasn't very popular when it came out because it's not really expandable memory-wise or with I/O systems.
But they're so beautifully designed, I hope I can get one, maybe used, although pre-fabricated systems have to be assembled by hand and usually go in the $2,000 range : \
