hey people we entering the next month but i worried about somethign from what i heard in october end the support of window 10 and from what i heard window 11 is still having some technical issues.... i dont know i guess some of you guys have window 11? if that the case what are you guys opinion about it??

Comission Rules

11) If you gonna use the character of another person tell that person ok? i dont want to get into any misunderstanding or trouble
12) i not used to draw humans but i can try
13) If you have doubt ask me before the people get selected
14) you can repeat and ask for another slot

I just got a new laptop that has Windows 11 on it.
Honestly, I don't think it's that bad. Just has extra features I'll never use, like AI assistance.

I've heard that too. I can only say from my experience with it so far. Then again, like I said, I got a new computer with it already on it. Maybe the issues come with upgrading on an old computer?

Windows 10 and Windows 11 share the same kernel version so if one program works with Windows 10, it'll work with Windows 11. The only real exceptions were things like anti-cheats when Windows 11 originally came out as they work in a whitelist sort of way so if it detected an unsupported operating system it would refuse to play games even if it did technically run fine. Basically underneath it's the same operating system, just with a fresh coat of paint.

Is your machine eligible for a Windows 11 upgrade? If so, I would recommend to back up your important files onto an external hard drive first.

I found W11 works decently (I had to get my computer modified to run it so I had that taken care of back in April due to wanting to avoid a potential rush due to other not-very tech literate people needing help with it).

Nope. Some of the lay-out changes are weird (like moving the "shut down" options) but I've not noticed issues with running anything since I got the changes.

i use win11 at work, nothing really bad, it made me more happy to have linux mint at home, I am lucky enough not to need software that is only available under Windows, but that's not the case for everyone.

In its early days, Windows 11 had many issues. For some reason, the drag-and-drop feature was removed but has since been restored. Although it is not as polished as Windows 10 and some users may still encounter problems, it has improved significantly. I have been using version 24H2 and have not experienced any issues. I am even running it on an Intel i7-7700 processor, which is officially unsupported.

For me, Windows 11 has been stable. I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a little while back. I would recommend checking if your PC is eligible to upgrade to Windows 11, but like I said, I haven't had any issues of note.

they're ending support for windows 10 which means it won't be getting security updates anymore, but I personally think you should get ready to jump to arch because 11 is becoming more bloated and AI focused by the update.

I'd recommend trying to make the jump to Linux, probably Linux Mint distro.
