Oh yes,I've been through something similar like this Before,except it wasn't a wisdom Tooth,what i had was a Bad Cacity-infested tooth-Ache back in 2014,Which I had the Tooth Extracted/Cutted from the Gums area,and now theres a big roof gap where the tooth used to be.

But yep,it feels weird at first,once you finnally get rid of the painful Tooth,but after a couple of days,you start to get used to it.lol

And than,you won't feel a thing,like nothing ever happened,but glad to hear that you got your problem resolved.lol

Yup, I am all better thankfully.

Also, if you look back in my many many entries, there was one entry that I made talking about my 1st toothache and how it made me feel. Believe me when I say that I felt like crap... the pain was so intense that I could not sleep for a few days.

I am just happy that those days are behind me now :D
