It's always scummy that people personate other artists, sorry to hear that someone's personating ya.

Happened to me about a month ago. There seems to be a serial impersonator lurking around our community. Hopefully none of your commissioners got hit.

I'm really sad that they hit you as well, and i'm really sad that the ones directly hit aren't us, but the viewers, watchers, followers that just wanted to have some fun.

Indeed, preying on someone who's looking to treat themselves with an artist's talent is a very low blow. A thief who likely doesn't work stealing from someone who's earned a little extra is extraordinarily slimy, and hopefully someday they'll choose the wrong target and be caught. Until then, we can only warn of the danger and not let it put us down.

Yeah sadly the only thing we can do for now is to make people aware of such behaviour, and make them waste their time as much as possible

There are some seriously scummy people in this community. Everyone should make sure to double check that they're actually speaking with the artist before sending money.

Tbh i feel like there's more and more scammers during the previous weeks. I saw more and more people impersonating artists, hackers and scammers.
We still need to pass up the word, so in the long term everyone will be careful enough to have the good reflex to check on the artists directly
