My Story on Animal Dicks

Aight, for those who are close to me, the only dick I like and obsess over are humanoid cocks.
I was schooling in Beijing, China as a kid (early 2000s) when I accidentally spotted two stray dogs mating. That red rocket of a penis frightened and disgusted 8 year old me so much that even to this day, I always see canine penises as some tumour that will explode. While I have better coping mechanisms now, I still get a sharp reaction in my testicles imagining my balls exploding whenever I see non-humanoid penises.
From 2010 to 2020, I started disliking animal penises more and more. Soon, I am getting put off by hemi-penises, then it became featureless penises, and the list kept growing until 2019 when I firmly decided to have zero characters with animal genitalia. Also, don't get me started on barbed cocks.
There are many OC whose designs I absolutely adore, but as long they have knotted/exotic/barbed/flared/hemi-penises, I would have to politely say that their genitalia is not for me. Horse cocks are okay to me but they still don't appeal to me as much. There has been like a very few number of artworks where people have put my OC with someone with an animal penis. And to that, I regret green-lighting them years ago. I wish I had more confidence back then to say no.

I guess for me it just depends on the Character Design. Sometimes Human-Dong looks better, occasionally Animal-Dong looks more natural.
Sometimes more Alien-like Dong looks interesting. I personally dont have a strong Preference, just so long as it fit the character design.
I only recoil and dont really 'Enjoy' the view, is Unnatural/Cross mixing.
Or...rather more specifically; Seeing a Canine with Equine Genitals. Thats a popular thing in a circle, and its personally a turn-off.
Like, I have met furries who are really turned off by human penises, and too give you the strange look if you told them you dislike animal genitalia. I can understand being weirded out by seeing something that is not biologically human, but can you be really disgusted by something you visibly possess on your own irl body?
Either way, I find it hypothetical when a human cock cannot be a compromise but a human vagina is acceptable. My preference for human anatomy for lactation and human gestation cycle are reasons why I myself rarely engage with OCs with exotic genitals.
As a right leaning centrist furry I also understand that the obsession with all male furries must have animal dong doesn't help separate the fandom from the small segment that is okay and even promoting zoophilia. And to that point when a person commissions art of their OC their word should always be the deciding factor on what .. umm.. style or form that equipment takes. OC's from artists who didn't sell their OC off should be up to the artist for that equipment. And fan works by artists is again a 50/50 on if a commissioner or the artist actually has the right to assume what that equipment looks like (unless been proven to be a specific form from official creators).

I.. don't even know how a student could get away with doing such a.. weird and niche research project. Would be interesting though to see. Because it would be very surprising if it really is conservatives that like that more than liberals.
