So far the only thing I'm not really enjoying is the fact that there's too many mobs that deal 2 masks of damage. The pogo mechanic also takes a while to get used to cause it's diagonal and not straight down.

By default at least. There is a way to change it eventually. =p

Like what is the point of having all these hit points if every enemy is just going to take off two at a time.

Like I can understand bosses doing it but regular mobs?

Yeah, taking 2 masks of damage from predictable bosses with clear openings like the Bell Beast is one thing, but a big ant that only has 2 moves with hitboxes that fill half the screen and multiple encounters with other enemies doesn't need to do 2 masks.

I'm loving the difficulty of Silk Song, personally. I am genuinely dreading a steel soul mode if it exists. That's something I hardly feared in the first Hollow Knight.

It looks really fun and I'm happy people are enjoying it, but I won't be playing it cause difficult/souls-like games stress me out too much

Oh? You’re playing OG Hollow Knight? Nice. I would like to replay it again someday but who knows when that will be . Loving every second of “Silk Song.” Between this and “Pipistrello” and hopefully “Mina the Hollower.” This might be my favorite year in gaming in a long while.

I dislike how much double mask damage there is, now if there was more of a mix between damage like a boss has one attack that does two damage and the others do one then it'd probably be more balanced (maybe the damage would increase in phase two idk but it just feels like it's JUST too much difficulty I have no idea how to do steel soul mode)

Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games of all time, and been loving Silksong. In the middle of Act 2 currently.

Silksong good, though be careful cause it's a lot more punishing than Hollow Knight is and money is triple worth earning

Silksong is nothing but suffering.
