Minoru Yamasaki: the man behind the World Trade Center
a month ago
earlier on 9/11 day or Patriot Day as it's called, I was looking up 9/11 videos when I suddenly came across a recent news clip put out by a tv news station up in Michigan talking about how an archive in Lansing Michigan managed to save and preserve the original blueprints to the World Trade Center along with other architectural works, all that were drafted and designed by one man and that's including the blueprints to the World Trade Center, his name was Minoru Yamasaki, a successful architect who ran his own successful architect business that lasted all the way up to it's permanent closure in 2009.
curious as I've sometimes have an interest architecture, I decided to look him up on youtube while I was still on there and found this documentary video (title of the video is also the title of this journal), it was a pretty good one and a half hour long documentary telling the story about Minoru and his life and career as an architect and what led up to how the world center came to be, and if you guys are interested in seeing this video for yourselves, I have it right here, I think it's totally worth an hour and a half of your time, without a further discussion, this is Minoru Yamasaki: the man behind the World Trade Center

OP
that direction that it's gone and been going since 2020 in regards to what the conservatives are doing

StinkyAndStella
~stinkyandstella
Well are you still a guy that loves America, studies accurate American history and politics, and is willing to acknowledge the good, bad, and everything in between about America, all with trying to make it better and contribute what little you do to making your community a good 1?

ShawnSkunk

OP
yes but at the same time I just don't want to stay here anymore, it's just become violent and dangerous to live here anymore

StinkyAndStella
~stinkyandstella
Then you're 1) A real patriot. And 2) A reasonable person who is understandably scared. I won't tell you whether or not to stay. I'm just saying you're a good skunk, and your fear is rational. That's why you're likely to stay out of danger.

thank you
