Multiple factors. A majority could be old style that shows inexperience compared to their current content. Sometimes it's requested for the art to be removed or made more private. An extreme might be showing content that was once appropriate that is now considered inappropriate. Ultimately it's the artist choice. Course these are just theories. Art theories.
