Change In Course & Penny For Your Thoughts

"But I can't listen to music very often, it affects my nerves. I want to say sweet, silly things, and pat the little heads of people who, living in a filthy hell, can create such beauty. These days, one can't pat anyone on the head nowadays, they might bite your hand off. Hence, you have to beat people's little heads, beat mercilessly, although ideally we are against doing any violence to people. Hm -what a devillishly difficult job!" -Lenin commenting on Beethoven's Appassionata.
“It is obvious that art cannot teach anyone anything, since in four thousand years humanity has learnt nothing at all. We should long ago have become angels had we been capable of paying attention to the experience of art, and allowing ourselves to be changed in accordance with the ideals it expresses. Art only has the capacity, through shock and catharsis, to make the human soul receptive to good. It’s ridiculous to imagine that people can be taught to be good…Art can only give food – a jolt – the occasion – for psychical experience.” ― Andrei Tarkovsky
"You say, 'The LORD's way is not fair!' Hear now, house of Israel: Is it my way that is unfair, or rather, are not your ways unfair?" -Ezekiel 18:25.

First:
Due to hindsight and personal reflection, I'm gonna be with-drawing somewhat from here in order to put more time to school and improving home life (plus also actually dedicating time to reading and writing; every time I start I burn out of motivation to do either quickly and just waste time scouring the internet to be entertained or falsely inspired). That does put me at a odd position of being unable to read any works here or upload any I do make. I'll occasionally hop back on seasonal breaks (probably only spring and maybe fall, but I will be totally absent the winter season from the 19th onward I'll be in Rome before spending the final days in Dublin; fuck, I'm gonna miss out on the wise ole tiger's raffle results! Ah well...)
In that time though, outside of school I hope to actually get my magnum opus fleshed out, plotted, and started before what I personally recon to be the beginnings of WWIII kick off and I'm thrown out like cannon fodder. I could be not right in my assessment, but I've scarcely been wrong when I've drawn conclusions of grander things happening in the world. Still, I'm not a predictor and I could just be paranoid.
So, till then, be good, stay safe, and should FA fade away due to higher powers, I'll be in touch on my own site and those listed on it: https://thesacredtextsofnex.neocities.org/
Second:
A little parting gift. Tons of story ideas I've thought of over the years but due to life and rapid need of growing up in a diverse age, I will probably never be able to get around due to lack of motivation (Don't worry, Grossheim, OLCDT, the pirates, and ANIG are gonna be done in due time) and the undesired will to ever return to them, do with them what you will if your muse happens to be low on fuel.
1. A 1800s salesman from the northern states is sent to the Wild West to try and pitch a new tonic product, Coca Cola, and unwittingly in the process becomes a old western hero.
2. Old noir sort of mystery and plot but the main character isn't trying to solve it because of any personal reason like revenge or love but simply because they wanna solve it.
(This one actually comes from G.K. Chesterton, but it has been one I started but never finished)
3. MC goes on a journey from the front door of their house, all away around the world till they reach the back end of it.

Either way take care of yourself, enjoy the last year, and get lots of writing done.
Will try, I do have to do a senior thesis so the muse will have to be a filing clerk for now; luckily it's defending literature and why it needs to be focused on even during the modern day. Till then sir, try not to turn into anything else while... Who am I kidding, I'll see you however you appear, sir.
Good luck with that. A good project.
But I can understand being uninspired (as I have been of late) and I wish you well. Work wholeheartedly in whatever you do and I hope you'll be able to rekindle your motivation soon. *hugs*
(PS I might use idea #2 for a Trip McCrimmon story I have in the back of my mind.)
(Ah, very good; I found the idea from a movie which had a similar ending that was just so bonkers but felt like a realistic motive for such a character. I won't say which film but I will say it stars John Turturro. I look forward to what you make).

And I get your feelings regarding the state of the world. Can't say I've been feeling particularly upbeat of late, either, on that level as well as personally.
At any rate, I wish you a pleasant and safe trip when the time comes, in case we don't touch base beforehand, and thoughts and prayers to you and your writing efforts.
Until next time. Take care.
Well, if you do I wish you well, and only time can tell if you'll find productivity.
Thanks, I'll see you 'round.
By all means, step away an' regain yer 'Center!' We all gotta know when it's time to do that and avoid the 'Burn out'!
Ya know we'll still be here when you return! (Well, I'll TRY, but can't make no Promises due to current political stuffs happening)
