The First 25 Years
I'm JudyJudith and I approve this message.
On this day, 25 years ago, I entered the world. Since then, I feel I've made considerable strides, although there are times I wish certain moments had unfolded differently and decisions had been approached in another way. Naturally, I've made mistakes and will likely continue to do so. It's part of being human. Why do we err? So we can learn from those experiences. Overall, I believe I'm on the right track. Right now, I'm concentrating on earning my master's degree, and I'm optimistic about graduating in February 2027. In 2026, I plan to return to the city where I completed my undergraduate studies (the same institution where I'm pursuing my master's) to look for an internship or job with a local company. I also need to manage expenses for books, online access, and interviews related to my thesis, and I prefer to use my own funds rather than relying on my parents for assistance. I'm relieved that my parents have stopped pressuring me to start a family, especially since my older sister already has a child, which secures the family lineage. After graduation, I aim to work in the private sector, building on my previous experience as an international trade analyst and marketing associate. However, my parents want me to pursue a government position, like at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as they believe that an international relations degree only leads to a diplomatic career. I have strong reservations about Indonesia's current government, but we'll see in 2029 if this frustratingly incompetent administration remains in power. Ideally, I want to stay in Indonesia, but I will always be on the lookout for opportunities abroad.
On the furry side, turning 25 also marks my seventh year in the fandom. Over these years, I've met many incredible people and formed lasting friendships, and I'm truly grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. Coincidentally, on this day 30 years ago, my new fursona, Berlian the dhole, was "born," while my previous fursona, Judy Reinard, and her twin sister, Lina Reinard, were "born" 45 years ago (though technically that’s tomorrow due to the time difference). I plan to continue commissioning art of Berlian, but as I mentioned in my previous journal post, my output will be limited due to my focus on my thesis and the financial commitments I outlined earlier. God willing, if I'm still around in the next 25 years, Berlian will continue to be my fursona. She's just five years older than me, which allows me to connect with her more than with Judy and my other original characters. My plans for Berlian include creating an American red fox OC who will be her partner and eventual husband, the "you" character referenced in recent art of her, and Berlian will eventually become a mother, whether through biological or adopted children—I'm still contemplating that. My goal is for Berlian to evolve with each piece of art. I will eventually commission one final artwork featuring Judy Reinard, likely depicting her interacting with Berlian the dhole, as a farewell tribute to Judy. After this piece, Judy will be officially retired, which means I won't be spending any more money on commissioning art of her.
So, here’s to the next 25 years!

And here's to the next 25 years!
P.s Berlian is an amazing character! Beautiful with inspiring backstory, she definitely is a worthy successor of Judy!
I wish you good fortune and good health.~
