It's Truth and Reconciliation Day once again~
And... I don't know what to say. Like, it's nice there's a day that the Canadian Government finally acknowledges it's horrifying actions to the First Nations. It's a sobering day.
The first step on healing wounds that may never heal. I could use a hug.
I want to have something uplifting or encouraging to say. Look on the bright side. I also want to be angry and political. But, I'm mostly just- down.
As a porn artist I'm harsher on myself for acknowledging my first nations heritage. It feels "weird" to be a porn artist sometimes because of it.
But, I am proud of who I am most days. Proud to be First Nations, proud to be a Porn Artist, Proud to have made it this far in life despite history.
But it's hard. And it's lonely. I wish I had peers that I could relate to on these topics. But then I'd feel exposed too. I dunno. Thanks for reading.

I don't have any solace to give or insights to offer. The only thing I can give is that I hear you. That you are not shouting out into the void and that there are fellow humans on the other side. That, at the very least, you are not alone, and what you say is heard.
I am glad you came to terms with who you are and what you do.
