Mhm, basically caused a 2 - 3 year art crisis ending in the conclusion that I will likely never put the same amount of time and effort into art again while living an adult life with adult responsibilities unless I bring up the money and courage to do it full time... But yeah kinda had to learn to appreciate the things I have now instead... And just do art whenever I feel like it and not expect to ever return to the habits I was able to have living at home going to school. Definitely had a long struggle trying to relieve the pressure I was putting on myself.

So it goes when you're forced to take a step back and look at the things you enjoy, the things you must do to keep trucking, and make a decision or two that hurts, but ultimately is necessary. But I'm glad you managed to get through it all reasonably well, not everybody does!

And some recognizable faces are always a joy, I think, after a long time of distance or inactivity. There's a particular kind of nostalgia about it.
