Cantun is a tidally locked moon orbiting a gas giant, so its two sides experience a different day-night cycle. The far side experiences day and night identical to Earth, but the near side does not; day around the equinoxes is cut in half by a long period of midday darkness, while during the solstices is more like Earth. Night, however, is a constant twilight, as light reflected by the gas giant creates a reddish glow.

Cantun has no moons of its own, but the gas giant's other moons do constantly fill the sky with many moons to observe, the closest of which being apparently larger that Earth's moon, although it never causes eclipses.

A singular sun during the day but during the night the stars play a role in lighting up the sky for use in navigation and for some as a way to predict what may yet come as a fortune telling usage to predict weather patterns and natural disasters.

As far as moon(s) go, I'm still trying to figure out if I'm wanting one or two moons, though partly leaning on two. But that is still up in the air the planet will have at least one or two moons that will fill the night with light depending on the phases of the moon(s).
