I usually don't look closely at the front page of Twitch, but yesterday a diaper fur vtuber caught my eye. Out of curiosity I decided to visit their stream, and when I scrolled down I was dismayed to see that they had some "chat commands" that involved using chatgpt and gen-ai.

Remember when baby/diaper furs were randomly being removed from Patreon, without any warning? You know I deleted my Patreon account in solidarity with them? I lost making $80+ a month, only a fraction of what some furries lost when their Patreon accounts were deleted. That was their livelihood, and I was pretty upset for them.

And now I see one of them using fucking chatgpt. I dunno. Feels like a betrayal of sorts.

I don't like diaper/baby fur art, at all, but the artists are a part of my online community and I would have expected, or hoped, that they would be upset (at the very least) if something happened to me. And I would have thought, or assumed, that furries who are either artists or associate with artists would give enough of a shit to know what gen-ai means for us.

I guess this was just a reminder that furries are an incredibly diverse group of people, some of which are clueless.

Maybe next time I'll say something to them.
