ONE MORE trip around the Sun Jeeves....

WELL WELL WELL... here it is.. Another year around this lovely star we call "Sol".. and another year of wear and tear on the old, overweight chassis..
AHHH.. we had SUCH Dreams when we were barely out of our diapers as far as the universe was concerned.. ( OK OK OK.. make that INTO our Teens! )
BUT DANGIT! we had FUN didn't we! No sense stopping that fun now, eh? We just have to gently slow it down a tad. We're not as old as we think we are, but we're also not as YOUNG as we LIKE thinking either..
MY Plans for today as my "Once a Year Day".. Have some fun.. overindulge on some great food.. have as much laughs as I can, and best of all, spend it with friends and those I care about and SHARE THE GOOD TIMES!!
We're only on this poor little planet for a short time, as far as the entirety of the cosmos is concerned.. BEST have as great a time as we can while we're here RIGHT?

not bad for a fur that the doctors told my only mom, that I'd not live past 2 years when she first found me.. hehe!
But that's part of the trade off of living life for as long as we have; We cannot and will not remember the good parts, unless we have and can remember the bad parts too.
It's what makes those **GOOD** parts worth SO MUCH MORE when we have them.

momma told me years later, that when she first saw me.. she was warned by other doctors that I had a poor immune system.. that she was setting herself up for heartache, as I'd not live past 2 years.
she told me before she passed away, that me living as I have... it just gave her the silent, "Smug-est" smile.. one of those expressions of " told you so".. and knowing it always gives ME a smile too milady.
