I have mixed feelings about ED. On the one hand, much of the stuff there is pretty much true, and helps warn people about some of the fandom's more, well, psychopathic personalities. A lot of really good artists are, evidently, totally insane.

I also kinda like how some of the would-be anti-furry critic people have the rug pulled out from under them when ED reveals their furry porn habits and fetish for babyfur materials or whatever. It's hard to keep up the "I'm not furry, I am just obsessed with how awful they are." facade after that. Which can be pretty hilarious. I know of a number of trolls who hate ED, as they can't take what they dish out.

But then again, a lot of the pages there seem to be more about certain fans being petty and butthurt rather than real expose quality material. I look through the articles and see nothing with bite beyond "This person is famous, and I therefore hate them. They are not perfect, so there!" A lot of it hardly seems to be about being funny, it's just Serious Business in disguise.

But real possible slander aside, free speech demands stuff like ED be kept open. It would be nice if it wasn't such a laggy site sometimes though.

I'll give them credit, Comedy is a difficult art-form in a Wiki Syntax since pretty much your only 'hook' is writing [[<Punchline>|<Misleading Setup>]] and hoping for images that are still in the Rule-35 Ether.

But just like the fandoms they troll, there's way too many BADSNIPERS and total hacks in their ranks posting crap that is a LULZ's equivalent of lense flares and stick figures with huge wangs.

I don't think you have anything to worry about though. I been around the fandom over 10 years directly adjacent to every major drama fight early on and the only time I ever appeared in one of their articles was in a thread-cap of that Kio sizeplay pic Zaush did. I think it says more about how terrible they really are at this by looking at who STILL ISN'T listed in their site all this time. (but I'm not gonna name names).
