Dealing with griefers

As someone who was recently DOX-ed I have a fresh perspective on this and I would love to share a PSA about it.
First, don't feed them a bit, if they are in your chat trying to ruffle your feathers, don't give it to them, and if they do something in the real world like have delivery people come to your house, don't even acknowledge it, act like it is not happening. if there is a key thing they are using just avoid the words even coming up in your chat, Pizza is now a forbidden term in my chat because of this.
Second, If you have a friend who has or is having these sorts of issues PLEASE take time to be in their chats, be nice, talk about other things, remind them nice people exist. when you are getting just hit with people trying to poke you and them interrupting you and sending you to the door to refuse to pay for food you can't eat it is NICE to remember there are nice people out there too.
Third, DO NOT BLAME THE VICTIM!!!!! you may not even realize you are doing this, "How did this happen?" "what did you do to cause this?" "was there some way you could have prevented this?" none of that helps the person who is suffering, it only makes them feel worse that they did not do something or they did something wrong at some point in their lives. once they have the information you can't fix it, they HAVE your address and name. console your friends, in private and not on their streams, and in the streams just act like it is not there and keep talking about other things. ignore as the mods ban people, any attention they get is fuel to their fun.
Remember your information is out there (I know scary huh?) starting with simple stuff like the phone directory, your name on your house/apartment/etc. anytime you bought something online your name and address are put out there, and that information can be sold or leaked.
