Ultra Bucky, or do you like Ultra Box-Fox better? It’s part of the naming scheme that I use when it comes to my PC builds. I was originally going to have the Bucky name related to AMD builds, and the Box name to Intel, but after I saw the Box name, it made me think of Xbox. Then again I could call it Ultra Xfox. What name do you like?

The name is kind of giving it away that the build will be based on an Intel Core Ultra. After doing some homework, I realized that the Ultra 7 was the best bang for buck for what I will be doing. From what I saw, it’s not worth the extra $200 to go with the U9.

I know I said I was going to wait till next year, but I couldn't pass up a really good black-friday deal on a U7-motherboard combo. I know it’s not the greatest MSI MB, but from what I read, it will get the job done at a decent level.

As for building it, it’s probably going to be a while, because I have a pretty full plate for probably the rest of the year. The biggest challenge will be building it in the HYTE Y70 case which I still haven’t opened that I have hidden in the closet. I know that it’s going to be a weird color theme of Red and Black, but it was the only Y70 that was at a decent price. I will probably be swapping some of the ram around with one of my other systems due to prices going astronomical. As for the GPU, it’s whatever I pull out of the closet for the day.

I know, I have a strange hobby.
