It's all about freedom of expression. He wants others to be free with themselves and be confident in their person's. Being able to show off and be who they are without reservations.

While I do not mind a sketch, I do not think this conversation is done yet. (After-all, it was 1 am according to the timestamp, and I was asleep)

After scouring the gallery a bit more, it does appear the guy has a few more things, but what are his overall goals? Sure getting more power from consumed souls is a nice one. And breeding mortals surely has its appeals (is it only by egg? Or is the 'traditional method' more difficult due to his nature? Or does he need to solely by in his more 'feral' form for traditional breeding?), but what else is he after? Theres signs he tends to a seemingly demonic 'pet' but what is their role?

So much lore behind this guy to figure out

I would have to argue variety. You clearly have the skill to showcase a lot of things, both on the NSFW side, as well as the SFW side.

Maybe some YCHs that could be 'upgraded' for a fee?

Why the interest in Zarek’s lore? Also most of my ych's end up being shaded. So I don't know what you mean by upgraded.

Also if more than one character needs to be filled it's unfair all benefit from one person's upgrade.

As in a YCH that is 'normally' SFW, but someone could pay a bit more to get all of the NSFW bits added in if they wanted it. Yaknow, variety! And would only apply to say a solo pose piece. Group pictures would be one or the other of course.

As for my interest, I am simply curious. I am a feline, and that's part of the package.

Seems to not be the most appealing scenario overall though probably an SFW suggestive scenario that has some interesting action would be significantly more appealing to your audience! I can also say that the sketch you did of my OC Techno in his loincloth outfit a while back could also work quite well as a YCH commission with the loincloth outfit it has! :)

Mainly just observed that in recent times there has been declining interest overall in more explicit types of NSFW YCH commissions across the whole community! :)

Regardless of my ych's no one seems to be interested in them.
