I Want to Ask Something

I have a question for you. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to. Just because I am nostalgic for the past and I enjoy a certain piece of media from my childhood, like let's say Disney's Aladdin, and just because I say it's one of my favorite animated movies of all time, in spite of its flaws, does that itself automatically make me a racist or a bigot by any means?

Nah, what really matters is acknowledging and understanding the flaws in the media. You can't change the past, but you can strive to make a better future ^_^

i believe theres racism in alot of media, some spiteful but some like Aladdin aren't. also now that i think of it if i were to think of something objectively better in the remake it probably be that aspect i think, i'm not too sure tho since i heard the opposite in a movie that came out not too long after which was heavily inspired by another country
