Sorry, no winter meta this year, just this lame journal. Mostly because A: Fuck 2025, and B: I don't have anything positive to say. But I suppose an update is in order regardless.

I've basically given up on writing the past several months, but not without trying. Every attempt I make just feels... Bad. The last one being something for the Autumn (not really Halloweeny) but it just turned into a more boring, worse version of Fearless. Before that I got an idea of doing a 'commentary' alongside a couple of my stories, but that fell through as well.

So I put writing off for a bit, thinking maybe things would get better, but they're not going to. Not for a while. Before then, the past several things that I did complete or even work on I did not feel good about them, they didn't do well in general, and it just feels like anything I'm involved with decays. I'm tired. So I'm stopping.

I've had the latest act of The Thread Of Dawn done since maybe May-ish, wasn't happy with it so I was trying to fix it throughout June. 'Soon' after, SoFurry went down; the only site that seemed to care for the series, so by the time I got to the point where I didn't completely hate the story, I was going to post it whenever SF came back online. Currently it has not, I'll wait until closer to Xmas to post it. Probably between the 16th and 20th.

After that, I don't know. I don't want to remain bleak, but I don't want to give false hope. Try to enjoy your holidays if you can. Sorry to make your year even worse
