It's absolutely awful, that after all those years, they didn't learned that some people still use FA with their PC,
and don't need 3km long banner writings as big for an elder 99+ YO disgusting menus merges in 36 useless buttons to access, and vertical non scoling wide abomination.
This web trend is annoying me so much since many years.
We never had that many pixels, yet, they use them less efficiently.
Like windows, at some point we will have 1 word before we have to scroll down.

Yuuuup- I'm still using light classic since 2007 :P

It's already that many years they introduced the "new" one ?

I've tried multiple times their "new" one and never, absolutely never, liked it.
It's not like I'm grumpy about changes, cause I always welcome good ones.

But often they are so awful.

For my sanity check I just right now checked what I was against, and my overwhelmed feel with the most recent garbage one.

I compared the same submission side by side on the feed and took screens, but just for the text part :

New : 59% of the screen, the art piece, 30% on the right, BIG buttons awful text, download submission, category, species, size, file size, keywords, with huge buttons also, report this content, big button, bad tags, meta keywords, more form (the artist) 6 miniatures of the submission. bottom part, the rest, artist utterly small icon (I feel disrespected artists here) and description oh and download is again here, like 1 button is not enough.

Old: It feels so much peaceful ! 80% ART Piece ! 5 small link buttons, add to favourites, download, full view, send note, and older button, bottom part, art pieces from the artist, and just a bit down, a full wide screen icon and description from the artist. Sorry, same size icon, but feels so much bigger, cause everything else is in proportions.
