Why not just start your own animation company like makes of Bugs bunny did back in the Termite Tarrice days, I'm sure if you get enough really good animators and artist together you can start your own company. if you can't find the job, make it. ^^

It was successful back then because it was new.

These days huge groups of people can make amazing stuff and go unnoticed for absolutely no reason at all UMMMMMMMMM it is a nice thought but starting a business & actually making profit from it is 100000000000x harder than just finding a job

You've graduated now haven't you? You may well already be listening, but I find listening to the interviews on Animation Podcast (http://animationpodcast.com/), Spline Docters (http://splinedoctors.com/) and Toon In podcasts (http://tooninanimation.net/wordpress/) to be a good source of inspiration and advice on everything including job searching. Of course, I'm in the same boat and still looking for paid work in the film/animation industry, so don't take too much stock in my words, but one of the best bits of advice I got was to call studios a week or so after sending something in and just politely ask if they've had a chance to take a look. If they haven't ask if it's OK to call back in a couple of weeks.
