ive seen around here from other users pages that theres furs thanking them for favs and watches and i was wondering whats the rules for that. is it seen as rude if you dont add a watch or fav to someone who has done to you. I apologize to those who have done that and i havent returned the favor. though i kinda see it as one of those popularity contest or something like "oh look ive got 1000+ favs wheeeeee" Sorry just ranting a bit.. kinda hoping this doesnt turn into a Myspace thing ewwwww myspace damn thing should be deleted from existence.

*shrugs* I don't expect the artists I watch to watch back, or even shout on my page. There aren't any set rules, each artist does it differently, although for some I believe you are right, they take it more as a popularity contest. I digress. I know I wouldn't think anyone rude for not doing that.

Just watch, fav, and comment on what you want. If anyone gets pissy about you not returning the favor, its because they are likely just doing it so they can get numbers, which is stupid :)

I think it's probably nicer to say thanks when you get watchers and the like, but I don't think it's bad if you don't do it. My style is watching and +faving myself with the occasional pic upload. Since I've got a rather lengthy watchlist, I usually only reply back when I feel like I can contribute something back besides "Thank you." But yeah, I say do as you wish.
