I got my new Kador set. I really can't wait to get into Warmachine. I got to finally, demo a game last week. I like thought I would like it and I did.

Well something I am going to do with this is battle reports.
Well joined in a mega battle for 40k at gaming store. 6k of NIds. Wtih forge world nids, MOMMY against 6k of Blood Ravens - space mares (Thats me.), orks, and Tau.
Well lets see it was 6k Nids how do you thinkg the battle went.
Why space mareins worked with TAU and especially why they work with orks.
Well when you have a HUGE HORDE of NIDS coming your way, even space marines know its better to well pick your battles with orks and Tau later. Tau can be trusted to a point. Orks well orks are orks and well they want fight and war for war self. Why not let them just run and get killed by the enemy and if they live then deal with them.

Turn1 - not enough dieng - my Devi squad blew away 2 Swarms, my Whirl wind droped a land mind filled in bunch a of gaunts only to have little effect killed -2 when they moved as I had little targets to the orks dropping a ballisk shot on same targets. STUPID ORKS> !!! My scouts well they did well. Snipers manageing to not only wound a mighty BARBED HERUDULE but taking off a mass point. Twin link Lascannon on razor back also wounded the mighty creature. Only to get blown up soon after by Hive Tryant - The Scouts paid to. They caught the Heirdules attnetion who blew 3 out of 6 away. They took a tatic retreat. Thats about the most highlights I rember.

Turn2 - Nope my Commands squads are not coming in. I really had good opening for them too. Fireing a was a bit better wounded Tyrant and scored another one on the hierdule, I hate that thing. Things were not looking good for us. Most the orks died in the first roung on the right flank. My land minds did little efect AGAIN> BAD DICE That round. My devas were the ones that wounded the Tyrant. Lost one speeder. Shot us some more gaunts that was about it. NIDS got a lot of there reseves in. My anti tank squad charged the genestealers assaulting the MASSIVE Gaurgantian squigoth. Only to have the sergeant MISS with all 3 powerfist. ANother big nid showed up and squigoth died at the bottom turn. The space marines of the anit tank tatic squad decided this was time to fight better and killed 4 of them to one loss. DAWM RENDING. OH yeah the barbed heridule wiped out my jump troops OUCH! all but one who decided it was time to report to the inquistion and fled. off the field.

Turn3 - Well some things turned up better. The Blood ravens realised time to get but in gear. The chaplian decided to make a drop in stand. With his term body guard they guned done a bunch of gaunts with some compined fire of another tatic squad. Man I never seen so many rending shots - 6 RENDING SHOTS :) I dropped a ravener squad and manage to get another wound on the heridule and the tyrant.

Well the battle was mess with 5 players I better skip the turns, with so much going on hard to rember what happened on what turn. Any ways I lost all but one marine by the end of the game on turn 5 when we ended. That Vet sgt. Armd with botl pistol and CCW lived by himself taken one nid down at time but living against a starting strenght 20 that came at him and his squad. Uhm my chaplain and 4 command terms survied a but load of shoating . MOST OF THE TYRANID SHOOTING. To lost of 1 term and 1 wound on the chaplian. I went two round withs 6 Warriors with scything Talons and rending claws. Lots of pain, a carnife, another 3 warriors, and 5 gaunts. Killed most the gaunts and 1 warrior. OUCH!! The chaplain was busy staying alive to fight back hard.

All In all we did a lot of damage on the little guys but that was it. MY LIbrarian never came in with his command squad. I learned some things though. All my years I never gone against nids. Excpect a Carnifex VS Dreadnought fight to teach wife the rules. You can guess who one. A dreadnought has almost no chance. Back to the point. I learned a lot in that fight. MY libraian was wise to stay away he is going to use his knowledge. Play a bit more agressive and TAKE OUT THE FAST ONES FIRST>

IN all I am need to game more. Some solo one on one battles. So be easier to give a battle report. Trust my Marines have done far better.
