I got Darksiders & Bayonetta

I got them yesterday, but I didn't post about it since I was pretty much playing Darksiders (I set it on the hardest difficulty so I would take a while to beat it). It does kind of remind me of Devil May Cry (A.K.A.: DMC) ini the way it plays and how you get different weapons, but the gore factor is a bit more juicy. Being a fan of visceral destruction, I was having a ball making fatality chains on a high.

I didn't get to play Bayonetta yet, but I"ll be doing that more than likely after I post this. I pre-ordered them both at Gamestop, so I got to save $5 off on Bayonetta & got the Harvester Scythe for Darksiders (If anyone else got it, let me know if the card with the code came in the box like it did with mine. If it didn't and you bought a copy, let em know ASAP)

If there are anyone here that wants to know if a game Coming Soon will have some form of bonus material (artbook, controller, weapon, armor, etc.) when pre-ordered, let me know and I'll find out.

I had been setting up status message rants in my Y!M just for the sake of fun & and informing of things that have or always have been an annoyance to me and many on a high factual level in the form of Peter Griffin's (Family Guy) Grind My Gears. My good friend and my elder sister found my rants to be entertaining since everything I mentioned has been proven to be a true known fact that it is either a piss-off or a joke to deal with at any time anywhere. Many of what I posted have been related to and I have been given good comments about how they agreed and how I deliver it. I thought that as a mild form of entertainment that I would post a rant here on FA and see how it flows to others. Since I felt the first one I post should be related to this site, I decided to make it a bit longer than my status messages since I have more space to do so and so I can elaborate more. I'll try to keep others I post (Be that I choose to do so after this one) probably shorter if possible.

I will note now that I'm not targeting anyone specifically since there's a good chance that people might take offense. After all, there's probably people on my list that have done or been a victim to a certain rant and I have no knowledge of it because I have not had much interaction with everyone other than giving a comment and possible idle chats via IM. Not to mention things that go unspoken in those situations.

You know what really Grinds My Gears?

[b]People that lectures about not getting comments when they themselves don't give any or ever reply to the ones given.[b]

This has been an issue that pissed many people off and have made certain people get negative comments because of it. Why badger about something that you yourself have even less of when you can't, don't, or won't bother giving it in return? Like those certain individuals that actually take the time to type up a very extensive comment that literally covers all the aspects of the material that was either read or viewed. They get sideswiped for a comment of lesser value, and moreso if the person happens to be what they consider a VIP. Favortism, what a bastard way to make those that actually take time to give the work a diligent and thoughtful review only to prove with much gusto that it was all for naught.



I've even seen people give more attention to those that give REALLY negative or perpetually stupid comments to an image because of the content or what is not being seen in it due to personal preference. Why the crap are you giving them the gratification of your audience and forsakening the ones that actually do give appraisal? That's the grounds of being an egotistical Jack*** to those that have respect to you. Example:

"I don't have time to reply to the comments"
*Sarcasmic starter* Really? You don't have time to comment on me, yet you seem to have enough time to comment on a person treating your work like it IS the by-product of Premordial ooze, OPENLY for us ALL to see I might add, instead of taking it to private interaction? Wow...you suck.

Don't bother pissing on people for not doing something when you yourself are blind to the efforts of the few that try to make you feel good about the work you've done. You want respect and attention, try giving it instead of spitting about it, ya JERK!
