WACOM BAMBOO PEN problem. =/ Solutions?
16 years ago
Welcome to Bo-san's Journal! =D Well, I got this new Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet and installed it in my Windows Vista. Well, the pressure isn't working. The funny part is that there's no pressure option on its preferences. And when I click on the Tutorial option, this message appears: http://img5.uploadhouse.com/fileupl.....80f304acc8.png .I tried downloading the driver on Wacom's website, but it didn't work. Also, after I downloaded and installed the driver, the tablet's preference window doesn't open anymore. ^^;;;
I have also tried to remove the the preference files, but it didn't work.
The question is: Did I buy a tablet that does not have the pen pressure effect(Is there such thing?)? What the HELL should I do? x3

FA+

anyways, I hope you get yours fixed.
Is your tablet connected directly to your computer, or through a hub? If you're plugged into a hub, try connecting it directly.
Good luck getting it to work!
I've upgraded to Windows 7 and everything is still fine lol
then I read the problem.
then I was like "....aw shit"
I somehow found that, deleted it, reinstalled the wacom driver, and it was fixed. But that was 2-3 years ago.
Try e-mailing support. they got back to me within two days. Amazingly fast.
Maybe you should get windows 7, it is made for tablets and touchscreens^^
Do it again just in case tho =3=a
Alternatively you can dump Vista all together and get Windows 7. Vista is terrible with graphics tablets.
Try that Bo, use older drivers, but i think I solved like installing 80% usual drivers and 20% from older version to make it work perfectly.
sorry my english is very bad X_x I hope this helps
